Lorain County’s Largest Law Firm Adds New Associate

Avon, OH, March 19, 2008 – Wickens, Herzer, Panza, Cook & Batista Co. today announced the hiring of Ms. Amy L. DeLuca as an Associate in the firm’s Litigation Department.

Ms. DeLuca comes to Wickens, Herzer, Panza, Cook & Batista Co. with five years of experience, and will specialize in labor and employment relations, as well as commercial litigation. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Akron and a JD from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, having graduated first in her class. Ms. DeLuca was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2003 and is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.

In addition to Ms. DeLuca’s Bar Association memberships, she is also involved in numerous civic and philanthropic activities. She is a founding member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s “Rights, Responsibilities, and Realities” initiative, which educates and mentors Cleveland Public School children. Additionally, she is a cabinet member of the United Way of Greater Cleveland’s “GeneratioNext” program, a member of Leadership Lorain County, and she is on the Board of Directors for the Neighborhood House Association of Lorain County. Prior to attending law school, Ms. DeLuca taught chemistry and environmental science at Elyria Catholic High School in Elyria, OH, as well as eighth grade at St. James in Lakewood, OH.
